Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I choose?

Our robes are oversized by design, giving you plenty of room for layering or getting changed comfortably. S/M suits most heights and builds comfortably and is perfect for a coat-like fit; if you're on the taller side or like a longer, roomier fit, go for L/XL.

Is the robe waterproof?

Yes — it's rated 5000/5000 waterproof and windproof, offering real protection against British rain and breeze. A generous hood, deep pockets and a cosy lining complete the picture, so you're ready for whatever the weather brings.

What materials do you use?

Sustainability matters to us, so wherever possible we choose recycled or natural materials for our garments. It's an important part of how we work — choosing pieces that are kind to the planet without compromising on quality or performance.

For example, our waterproof country robes are 50% recycled polyester, our quilted tote bags are 100% recycled, and our Juco shopper bag is 100% natural.

Our packaging reflects the same care: cardboard boxes, tissue paper and tape are recyclable.

How do I wash my robe?

Our Country robes don't need washing regularly. If it picks up a little dirt, a damp sponge is usually all that's needed. We'd recommend keeping washing to a minimum, as the process can gradually age the waterproof outer, much like any outdoor waterproof clothing. Unless it's especially dirty and you'd prefer it freshly cleaned, simply drying it at room temperature between uses will keep it performing just as well.

Machine wash at 40°C for the best results. We'd recommend skipping the fabric conditioner and tumble dryer — simply let it air dry naturally. It can be ironed on a low heat if needed, though we'd suggest avoiding bleach and dry cleaning to keep the waterproofing at its best.

Why has my robe arrived with creases?

Your robe arrives folded inside its free embroidered travel bag, so a few creases from the journey are completely normal. Simply hang it up, and with a little wear, the creases will drop out naturally.
